Koch Technology Solutions reaches lithium selective sorption media exclusivity agreement with Xi’an Lanshen New Material Technology Co., Ltd.
Koch Technology Solutions will be the sole distributor of Xi’an Lanshen’s Lithium Selective Sorption media for the Li-Pro™ Direct Lithium Extraction process offering in North America and Europe.
Koch Technology Solutions (KTS), a subsidiary of Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) has entered into a definitive agreement with Xi’an Lanshen New Material Technology Co., Ltd. (LANSHENTEC), a global leader in the research, development, manufacture and application of polymer functional separation materials, for the exclusive distribution and use of its Lithium Selective Sorption (LSS) media in North American and European markets.
The agreement enables KTS to provide customers on both continents with LANSHENTEC’s media as part of its Li-Pro™ Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) process. Li-Pro™ is currently being evaluated at multiple pilot sites and is presenting extraction rates well above the industry norm – marking a step-change in an industry where crucial breakthroughs are needed to meet consistently increasing demand for lithium.
