Dr. Hua has extensive experience in venture capital investment and operational management in high tech companies.  At SBCVC, his key roles include deal sourcing, due diligence, deal execution, and portfolio management.   He serves on the board of directors for several high tech companies.

Prior to joining SBCVC, he was with McKinsey and Company, where he led numerous high profile and highly successful engagements in high tech, consumer, and automobile industries. Dr. Hua also worked with Siemens (USA) for seven years, serving various technical and managerial roles in R&D, marketing, and strategic planning.   He pioneered numerous computing and data communication technologies, held several US patents, and was a core member of a standard committee in National Electrical Manufacturer Association in USA .

Dr. Hua holds a MBA from Kellogg School of Management,  Northwestern University , Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering from University of Wisconsin , and , B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
